Description

Presented by Nonprofit Net of Greater Boston

This one hour workshop will help small to medium-sized nonprofits create a plan to pursue grant funding without feeling like they need to drop everything each time a new grant opportunity arises. A funding strategy is a 12 to 18 month roadmap of which grants to pursue and when. We will cover what nonprofits need to know prior to completing grant applications, what language nonprofits need to have in its grant writing toolkit, what to consider before choosing which grants to pursue, and how to start building relationships with funders. Attendees will leave with a clear strategy on how to focus on grants aligned with their mission while producing a greater likelihood of success.

In this workshop participants will learn:

1. Prepare your toolkit - before starting an application, define your goals, purpose, and plan

2. Create a strategy - research and target grants that align with your purpose and mission

3. Build relationships - determine which grants your organization will pursue and make sure they know you

Registration is limited to 50.
