This workshop led by Ellie Brown of Brown Catalyst Consulting will equip nonprofit leaders with practical frameworks for strategically selecting, managing, and maximizing value from consultant relationships.
Ellie brings over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience to every partnership, with a unique background spanning organizational development, fundraising strategy, and creative leadership. Her equity-centered approach is informed by her work across sectors—from grassroots organizations to established institutions.
Leadership Experience: Executive Director at DESIGNxRI, Development Director at Boston Impact Initiative (BII), Women's Fund of Rhode Island, and founder of Brown Catalyst Consulting (former POPsicle Consulting).
Creative Foundation: Ellie began her career as an artist and fine-art photography educator with B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees. She taught fine art for 17 years before transitioning to nonprofit leadership, bringing a creative problem-solving approach to organizational challenges.
Ellie is passionate about building systems that advance equity and inclusion. She ensures that mission-driven organizations have the necessary infrastructure to create lasting change. Based in Rhode Island, she works with organizations throughout New England and beyond.
