of Nonprofits\nJoining with another nonprofit can increase financial stab
ility, efficiency, and resources, and ultimately allow greater community i
mpact. But any arrangement between organizations requires time and careful
consideration to make sure it is the right solution for the nonprofits an
d their constituencies. Should your organization begin to consider a merge
r, affiliation or shared services? If so, what are early considerations an
d what do you need to explore?\nAlliance members can use code NCN for a $1
0 discount on registration. \nJoin two experts on this topic, BoardStrong
Director Barbara Paxton and New York Council of Nonprofits (NYCON) Senior
Attorney Michael West, Esq., for this introductory session that will deta
il options and considerations for a variety of partnership options. This s
ession will focus on a nonprofit board&rsquo\;s role in exploring such opt
ions, but information shared will be helpful for executive directors and o
ther staff as well. The ideas and concepts shared will apply to nonprofits
across the U.S.\nBoardStrong is a nonprofit organization that works natio
nwide to advance the nonprofit sector and the impact of the work nonprofit

rship, governance and oversight. Barbara Paxton has more than 20 years of
experience working with nonprofits and has broad experience in board leade
rship, board development and governance, fundraising and finance.\nNew Yor

and in that time has facilitated more than 100 corporate restructuring pro
jects, including mergers and affiliations. Mike has long been devoted excl

nt Title: 92% of Directors Use AI, But Does Your Board Have a Policy?\nSta
 rt Date / Time: Jun 30, 2026 11:00 AM US/Eastern\nLocation: \nSpeaker: Ric
 k Doten, Robin Fleming\nPresented by OnBoard.\n \n\n\nDirectors are adopti
ng AI faster than their boards learn how to govern it. That leaves the peo
ple who carry the duty of care relying on consumer tools for the most sens
itive material they touch. The boards that close that gap, with written po
licy and governance-grade AI, rate themselves dramatically more effective.
\n \nThere is a quieter cost, too. When each director preps in their own C
hatGPT or Copilot account, every one of them uploads different documents,
keeps different context, and ends up working from a different version of r
eality. The board splinters into a dozen private workflows.\n \nThis ATLAS
Leadership webinar brings together OnBoard CTO Robin Fleming and security
advisor Rick Doten. They will get specific about what should never go int
o a public model, how to tell whether your board&rsquo\;s information is e
ven ready for AI, and who answers when AI gets something wrong. Our speake
rs will also discuss some of the findings from OnBoard&rsquo\;s 2026 Board
Effectiveness Survey. You will leave with clear, practical, actionable ta
keaways grounded in real experience.\nWhat you&rsquo\;ll take away:\n\n\n\
n\n\n \n\nThe board information that should never touch a public AI tool,
and how to spot it before a director pastes it in.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nRic
k Doten's three-layer test for whether your board's data is in good enough
shape for AI to give you answers you can trust.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nThe A
I maturity ladder: how to see where your board sits today, from no policy,
to a written one, to governance-grade AI that enforces it by design.\n\n\
n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nA practical line on accountability: what AI can take off a
director's plate, and what stays a human's responsibility no matter what.

. Because, we do more, together. It is important to note that this is not
a typical networking event. It isn't about collecting business cards or pi
tching services. It is about building relationships and community starting
with a conversation. It is about bringing nonprofit folks and business ow
ners together to connect with one another. It might lead to finding your n
ext board member or a new client, but right now it is sort of the 'meet cu

 Organizational Performance Group\nCost: $40\n \nWhether you&rsquo\;re back
in the office or still working from home, virtual meetings have become th
e new norm. The way we work, gather, and engage with one another has chang
ed, and yet somehow, even after years of leading and participating in coun
tless virtual gatherings, they are often still filled with awkward transit
ions, talking over each other, unintentional interruptions, and unclear ex
pectations. Learning to facilitate virtual meetings more effectively has t
he power to change all of that.\n \nSo, what are the skills to actually fa
cilitate a productive virtual meeting? What makes it successful? Are we ut
ilizing all the tools at our disposal in the virtual facilitation world?\n
