 trategic planning can seem like an overwhelming endeavor\; however, there 
 are structured and fun approaches that not only lead to better results but
  also improve team engagement and morale. Sometimes teams know what metric
  they want to improve, but they do not truly understand what the true &ldq
 uo\;problem&rdquo\; is.\nIn addition, teams and organizations can become c
 omplacent, failing to recognize potential disruptions and missing opportun
 ities. In this course/workshop, students will be introduced to four strate
 gic planning approaches:\n\nFuture Thinking,\nPre-Mortem,\nAnalogous Resea
 rch, and\nDesign Thinking.\n\nStudents will understand how each approach w
 orks, practice elements of each approach using their real-world scenarios,
  and understand how to select and facilitate the approach that&rsquo\;s mo
 st conducive to their unique environment.\nLearning Objectives:\n\nLearn a
 nd understand new approaches to strategic planning.\nDevelop a creative an
 d forward-thinking mindset to keep your team and organization proactive.\n
