  strengthen the Community Health Worker workforce on December 10th at the 
 2026 RI Community Health Worker Conference &amp\; Awards Breakfast, held a
 t Rhode Island College.  This annual event celebrates the vital role Commu
 nity Health Workers (CHW) play in advancing health equity, improving commu
 nity well-being, and strengthening connections between individuals, famili
 es, and the services they need. Attendees will engage in meaningful learni
 ng, networking, and collaboration while recognizing the leadership and imp
 act of CHWs and allies across the state.\n \nOne Day of Celebration, Learn
 ing &amp\; Action: Two Ticketing Options\nAwards Breakfast\nAttend the Awa
 rds Breakfast to celebrate and be touched by the stories of key players in
  the CHW community.\n\nGather over breakfast to recognize the accomplishme
 nts of CHWs and their allies who make a difference with and for communitie
 s.\nLearn about sustainability challenges and opportunities for the field 
 through a presentation by the Alliance for CHW Employers&rsquo\; research 
 on Medicaid data and policy.  \nNetwork with policy makers, community heal
 th workers, employers, advocates, healthcare providers, and community-base
 d organizations as we explore how our connections can continue to make a p
 ositive impact in Rhode Island and beyond.\n\n \nThe Awards Breakfast port
 ion of the conference is a fundraising event that directly supports the Pr
 ofessional Development Afternoon. Ally tickets are available for $75, with
  discounted $25 tickets available to CHWs.\n \nProfessional Development Af
 ternoon\nStay after the Awards Breakfast, or arrive just in time, for two 
 fun and interactive sessions of professional development, appropriate for 
 both CHWs and allies, organized by CHW Voices and the CHW Latinx Group. Ex
 pect workshops led by expert CHWs and their partners, targeted to the curr
 ent challenges facing Rhode Island&rsquo\;s CHW community. \n\nThere is no
  charge for the Professional Development Afternoon, and lunch will be prov
 ided between sessions. \nWorkshop hours will count towards the Rhode Islan
 d Certification Board&rsquo\;s education requirement for CHW certification
  and recertification.\nTopics and registrations for individual sessions wi
