Through 401Gives, Rhode Island's statewide giving day, more than 70,000 Rhode Islanders have given over $19M to over 1,000 Ocean State nonprofits.

On April 1-2, 2025, 401Gives once again made Rhode Island history by raising over $4.9 MILLION for 644 local nonprofits from over 19,000 donors.

Our goal is to build nonprofit resiliency 401Gives was launched to strengthen Rhode Island's nonprofit community and give a collective voice to Rhode Island philanthropy. Our strategic goals include both increasing the number of Rhode Island nonprofits in stable financial conditions and increasing the amount of Rhode Island households that contribute to charities.  What's in it for you?
