New nonprofit advocacy organization for Rhode Island nonprofits launches.
"There’s a new friend in town for Rhode Island’s many nonprofits: the Alliance for Nonprofit Impact.
The new advocacy organization premiered at Southside Cultural Center of Rhode Island in Providence on Thursday. Housed within the organizational structure of United Way of Rhode Island, The Alliance “will work to strengthen the capacity of the state’s nonprofit organizations,” per a news release announcing the debut."
