November is Nonprofit Appreciation Month

While we are grateful for the work of nonprofits all year long, November is a special opportunity to say thank you to the organizations that serve as anchors in our community, who inspire, educate and empower us, and who are always there when we need them the most.  

Every November, the Alliance offers raffle prizes and celebration events for nonprofit staff, which in the past have included pinball and trivia parties, trips to an animal sanctuary, Providence Bruins games, and the Roger Williams Park Zoo Holiday Light Spectacular.

We also encourage Rhode Islanders to express their appreciation to nonprofits that have touched their lives during November, as well as make donations to support their important work.
