Description

Nonprofit Resilience Hub program in partnership with Forefront (Illinois nonprofit network)

In a moment defined by constant change and high stakes, nonprofit leaders are being asked to guide others while navigating uncertainty themselves. This 90‑minute webinar supports Executive Directors and senior leaders in staying grounded, thoughtful, and values‑aligned amid constant change and incomplete information. Participants will explore how to slow down reactive decision-making, communicate transparently without having all the answers, and maintain trust with staff, boards, funders, and communities. The session blends reflection, practical frameworks, and real-world communication strategies tailored to nonprofit leadership realities. Leaders will leave better equipped to offer steadiness, clarity, and purpose—even when the path forward is still emerging.

Learning Outcomes

  • Techniques for grounding themselves and their teams to reduce fear‑based reactions in times of uncertainty
  • Strategies for creating space between information, interpretation, and response when change is constant
  • Approaches for communicating clearly and transparently when answers are still unfolding
  • Guidance on tailoring messages for different audiences while staying rooted in mission and values
  • Practical tools and frameworks to support decision-making and communication in real time
