Invest 

Become a business partner member – support the Alliance, get listed in our Partner Directory, and offer a member discount or content webinar 

Sponsor opportunities – events, single trainings or cohort programs, conferences, 401Gives (April 1), Nonprofit Appreciation Month (November) and more 

In-kind donations – donate gift cards for Alliance drawings to thank nonprofit staff for their service; donate products, services, or meeting/event space to help community-based organizations make a greater impact 

Become a member of the Alliance Funder Collaborative with a multi-year grant or partnership  

Pay for Alliance membership scholarships for nonprofits in your town, or offer Alliance memberships as a benefit for your nonprofit customers 

Match employee giving through Give4GoodRI and 401Gives 

Engage 

Share your expertise – offer a free webinar, schedule some office hours to answer nonprofit questions, mentor a nonprofit leader or become a Flash Consultant (occasional one hour discussions with a nonprofit leader about a problem or challenge they are facing) 

Deploy your employees’ creativity as a Gratitude Squad – write thank you notes, do an applause ambush, and deliver buckets of brightness to thank nonprofits for their dedication during Nonprofit Appreciation Month (November) 

Mobilize your employees to volunteer – build your team spirit by giving a helping hand, put your professional expertise to use with a skilled service day (check out the Volunteer Center for community needs), or encourage employees to join a board or committee (and check out the Alliance’s Board Matchmaking events) 

Cause-related marketing – encourage customers to donate to local nonprofits, display QR code for Give4GoodRI in your facility to encourage donations to local nonprofits
