Description

Presented by Utah Nonprofit Association

Learn how to manage nonprofit finances with confidence without needing to be an accountant! We’ll show you how your everyday program decisions show up in the numbers, how to read financial reports without intimidation, and how to ask the right questions to protect your organization and its mission. This four-part series is designed for nonprofit leaders and staff who are responsible for stewarding resources wisely, even if finance isn’t your primary role.

Session 1: From Program to Ledger

From Program to Ledger is a practical, nonprofit‑focused learning program designed to help you connect your mission‑driven work to the financial information you rely on to make decisions. If you oversee programs, manage people, approve spending, or serve in a leadership role. If you don’t see yourself as a “finance person”, then this program is for you.

In clear, plain language, you’ll learn how everyday program activities turn into financial data and how to use that data with confidence. The goal isn’t to turn you into an accountant; it’s to help you understand the story the numbers are telling so you can steward resources wisely, meet funder expectations, and support long‑term sustainability.

Cost:
