The Warren Heath Equity Zone is proud to announce the first ever Warren Volunteer Fair and we invite your organization to participate! 

The goal of this event is to promote the many and varied opportunities for our neighbors to impact their own community.  Healthy and strong communities are built by organizations such as yours - non-profit and community based entities that address today’s most pressing needs.  We also know that people feel less isolated and more useful when they engage with others in this work. Our community is at its best when it includes and values the contributions of all its residents. 

Who is invited to exhibit?

We are inviting all non-profit and community based organizations based in or serving the Warren community.  This includes 501(c)3 entities as well as municipal commissions and committees. 

Who will attend?

The event is open to the public and being heavily promoted to residents of Warren.  We hope to attract new residents who want to become involved in their new home, retirees who wish to share time and well developed skills for the greater good, and people looking for connection and a sense of belonging in the community.  Additionally, a new federal law will change Medicaid and SNAP rules for some Rhode Island adults starting in 2027, requiring work or volunteer hours.
