Rhode Island Women in the Trades (RIWITT) is pleased to invite you to Know Your Rights on the Jobsite, a FREE educational event organized by Rhode Island Women in the Trades, with participation from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights.

This event will focus on workplace rights and legal protections for women in the construction industry, including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, unequal treatment, and barriers to employment, training, and advancement.

The panel discussion will bring together representatives from government agencies, construction industry stakeholders, and workers to discuss applicable workplace protections, reporting procedures, enforcement mechanisms, and resources available to individuals experiencing potential violations of employment and civil rights laws.
