The value of nonprofits extends far beyond what we see: Commentary
Rhode Island is fortunate to have a number of nonprofits that care for the places that make our state special. We have organizations protecting our wooded areas, wetlands, coastal shores and natural habitats.
But these nonprofits do much more than steward land. They create opportunities for Rhode Islanders to connect: with nature, with one another and with the communities we call home.
