Get ready for Nonprofit Appreciation Month in November!
Presented by the Family Caregiver Alliance and United Way of Rhode Island.
Join caregivers from diverse backgrounds and life stages for an engaging panel discussion about the realities of caregiving. Hear firsthand experiences navigating complex systems, managing stress, balancing responsibilities, and providing unconditional care for loved ones. Panelists will explore barriers to accessing support, share strategies and resources that have made a difference, and reflect on the resilience, connection, and hope that sustain caregivers along the journey. Whether you are new to caregiving or have years of experience, this conversation offers insight, validation, and inspiration.
Also enjoy leader networking, advocacy updates, discussion panels, education sessions, resource fair, free on-site self care options, and more.

As the new federal fiscal year approaches and we await the details of the final rule that could remake how federal grants are announced, awarded, and monitored, organizations still relying on old ways and non-collaborative processes will fall further behind. Findings from research conducted by MIT Sloan Management Review found that cross-functional teams give organizations broader access to diverse perspectives and skill sets. Organizations that remove silos and get departments working from shared knowledge consistently outperform those that don't. Shared knowledge is a must in compliance-heavy environments.
Join GrantWin CEO Patrice Davis and Dr. Tanitra Scorza as they share how compliance stalls when one person holds all the institutional knowledge, staff retention is weak, and software is treated as the fix.
Recent federal policy shifts have significantly changed the operating environment for many nonprofits. This session will explore where those impacts have been most pronounced and how organizations and funders are responding. You’ll gain timely insights into emerging patterns across the sector to help inform decision-making in real time.
