Get ready for Nonprofit Appreciation Month in November!
Presented by the Chronicle of Philanthropy.
Gen Z isn't less generous. They just aren't engaging with nonprofits the way previous generations did.
Today's emerging donors are discovering causes through creators, communities, social platforms, and trusted peers. They're fundraising, sharing, advocating, and participating, often before they ever make a donation.
For nonprofits heading into year-end, that creates a major opportunity. In this session, we'll break down what Gen Z generosity looks like today, what creator-led and livestream fundraising can teach us about engaging younger supporters, and how nonprofits can create more ways for them to participate, fundraise, advocate, and connect with your mission.
You'll learn how to:
Reach Gen Z where they're already discovering and supporting causes (Discord, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram)
Turn participation into a pathway to giving
Use creator-led and livestream fundraising to engage new audiences
Give younger supporters more ways to activate around your mission
Build relationships that continue beyond year-end
