A strong grant strategy depends on more than finding the right funders. You also need a clear, compelling way to explain what your organization does, why it matters, and why your work is fundable. In this free workshop, Sonya Page will walk through how small nonprofits can build a stronger case for support that sharpens messaging, highlights fundable programs and priorities, and strengthens both grant applications and foundation outreach.

Young people are making a powerful impact by serving their communities. In the process, they are building the skills, relationships, and confidence that are shaping their lives. As more organizations invest in youth service, there is a meaningful opportunity to support and increase youth-led service, where young people have a voice in shaping what service looks like and play an active role in guiding efforts that matter to them and their communities.
In this session, we’ll share findings from a new research report by The Allstate Foundation and Gallup highlighting the role service plays in driving key developmental outcomes such as career readiness, connection, and resilience.
By attending this session, you will:
Explore how youth-led service contributes to personal growth and community impact
Identify practical strategies to strengthen and expand youth service opportunities
Learn how to apply research insights to support youth voice and engagement in service
This event will be recorded. All registrants will have access to the on-demand video and transcript.

Nonprofit Connections RI is a monthly meet up for nonprofits and fans that takes place around the Ocean State. It is a free event to connect and collaborate!
The purpose of putting this together is to help build a stronger community of shared support and resources one relationship at a time. Because, we do more, together.
It is important to note that this is not a typical networking event. It isn't about collecting business cards or pitching services. It is about building relationships and community starting with a conversation. It is about bringing nonprofit folks and business owners together to connect with one another. It might lead to finding your next board member or a new client, but right now it is sort of the 'meet cute' moment as they say in showbiz.
Our gatherings resumed on September 17, 2025 and take place the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6 pm to 8 pm:
