Get ready for Nonprofit Appreciation Month in November!
Presented by Nonprofit Learning Lab.
Grant funding is more competitive than ever, making it essential to understand what funders are looking for beyond the application itself. In this practical session, participants will gain insight into what strengthens a proposal, common mistakes that weaken an application, and the key factors funders consider when making funding decisions. Participants will leave with practical strategies to align proposals with funder priorities, communicate organizational impact more effectively, and strengthen their grant development process.
Since early 2025, federal agencies have used funding to advance administration priorities through grant conditions, certifications, funding disruptions, audits, and more. Many nonprofits are still working to understand what these changes mean for their programs, staff, and the communities they serve.
The National Council of Nonprofits and Democracy 2025 are launching a new four-part Federal Grantee Roundtable Series to help federally funded nonprofit grantees, subgrantees, and other partners navigate these changes to federal funding, understand their rights and responsibilities, and identify strategies to protect their programs and the communities they serve. Sessions are designed for nonprofit leaders.
This introductory webinar will cover existing, emerging and accelerating threats to federal funding, how to identify potentially unlawful actions, and steps grantees and their partners can take to respond.
