Two day training presented by Utah Nonprofit Assocation

In the nonprofit world, outcomes are everything. Funders want results, communities deserve impact, and you need to show the difference you’re making—but how?

The Nonprofit Credential in Outcomes and Evaluations gives you the skills to measure what truly matters. Learn how to turn numbers into stories, insights into action, and outcomes into confidence. With the right tools to analyze, track, and communicate your impact, you'll build trust with stakeholders, inspire your team, and attract the funding you need to keep changing lives.

What you'll takeaway:

  • Define your intended impact and create strategies to achieve results
  • Identify the right metrics to track your activities, outputs, and outcomes
  • Build an evaluation plan that evolves with your organization
  • Adapt your data collection and reporting strategy

Drive results with proven value, and show the power of your mission.

Upon completion, your organization will earn the Nonprofit Credential Outcomes and Evaluations Badge, a mark of excellence to share with your network and show the world you’re serious about making an impact.

Webinar

Presented by the Alliance of Fundraising Professionals RI.

In this webinar, leaders from the Blackbaud Institute will unpack the most important findings from the 2025 data—highlighting how focus, prioritization, and donor intelligence help organizations build a more resilient and sustainable mix of revenue sources. You’ll also hear directly from a growing nonprofit organization that is translating these trends into action by thoughtfully balancing major gifts, mid‑level giving, and other revenue streams to support long‑term growth.

Together, this session moves beyond headline statistics to focus on what fundraisers can do next—whether you’re strengthening your overall revenue foundation, reducing over‑reliance on any single source, or scaling programs that are already showing promise.

2 PM - 3 PM
Webinar

Presented by Nonprofit VOTE

The nonprofit sector has a crucial nonpartisan role in our democracy. Without trusted nonpartisan resources, voters are left to fend for themselves to find information like election deadlines, polling locations, and what choices are even on the ballot in a harshly divided and politicized climate. If we want a representative democracy by the people and for the people, our sector gets to rally our communities to show up when it counts!

This uplifting, action-oriented event will feature a dynamic panel conversation to help fill your cup ahead of the next few months:

National Voices: Illuminating the Path Forward

  • Diane Yentel, President and CEO, National Council of Nonprofits

  • Dr. Akilah Watkins, President and CEO, Independent Sector

  • Brian Miller, Executive Director, Nonprofit VOTE

  • Matthew L. Evans, Vice President of Advocacy & External Relations, United Philanthropy Forum and Chair, Nonprofit VOTE Board of Directors

This year holds milestones. As the nation approaches its 250th anniversary, Nonprofit VOTE marks 20 years of working alongside nonprofits to build a more inclusive democracy. For two decades, we’ve seen that the trust built in communities is what makes participation possible.

3 PM - 4 PM
Policy event

Presented by the Alliance for Justice.

Alliance for Justice is inviting you to join us on Wednesday, May 20, from 3–4 p.m. ET for Holding Court: The Trump DOJ on Trial. Holding Court is a virtual conversation series featuring leading attorneys, progressive advocates, politicians, and thought leaders exploring today’s most pressing social justice issues. Join us on Wednesday, May 20. This will be a timely discussion examining tensions between the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the courts, the current administration’s willingness to defy court orders, and the impact of widespread DOJ departures. Moderated in a Q&A format by AFJ President Rachel Rossi, the event will feature insights from guest panelist Liz Oyer, former U.S. Pardon Attorney.

The second Trump DOJ has made many headlines since his inauguration: such as the firing of Attorney General Pam Bondi, the indictment of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), and numerous accusations of defying federal court orders. An estimated 6,000 people have left the DOJ over the last 16 months — resulting in a backlog of cases and a severe shortage of lawyers on staff. Some departed employees have cited shifting DOJ priorities as a reason for leaving. The recent indictment of the SPLC for alleged fraud and money laundering has raised questions about whether or not President Trump is truly “weaponizing” the DOJ for his own benefit instead of staying with the agency’s core mission: to uphold the rule of law, to keep the United States safe, and to protect civil rights. Holding Court: The Trump DOJ on Trial will take place via StreamYard and streamed through AFJ’s YouTube channel and LinkedIn page. StreamYard webinars do not have automatic closed captioning, but there are captions on LinkedIn. The event will be recorded.

Networking event/social meet …

Presented by the Nonprofit Broad

Nonprofit Connections RI is a monthly meet up for nonprofits and fans that takes place around the Ocean State. It is a free event to connect and collaborate!

The purpose of putting this together is to help build a stronger community of shared support and resources one relationship at a time. Because, we do more, together.

It is important to note that this is not a typical networking event. It isn't about collecting business cards or pitching services. It is about building relationships and community starting with a conversation. It is about bringing nonprofit folks and business owners together to connect with one another. It might lead to finding your next board member or a new client, but right now it is sort of the 'meet cute' moment as they say in showbiz.

Our gatherings resumed on September 17, 2025 and take place the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6 pm to 8 pm:
