You already know your nonprofit needs a budget and a forecast, but are you truly using them as powerful tools to manage your cash, steer your mission, and make smarter operational decisions? This session reframes budgeting and forecasting as essential elements of cash management, giving you practical insight into who should be involved, the nonprofit-specific factors that matter most, and how these planning tools work together to keep your organization sustainable and mission‑focused.

This webinar is designed to elevate fathers’ mental health as a core prevention and family well-being strategy, recognizing that fathers’ emotional health, identity, and connection to their children are critical protective factors for families. The goal is to shift the narrative in the social sector from viewing fathers as peripheral or “hard to reach” to seeing them as essential partners in prevention, healing, and long-term family stability. Participants will deepen their understanding of how structural stressors, such as economic insecurity, systemic racism, involvement with child welfare or the justice system, and unresolved trauma, shape fathers’ mental health and engagement with services.

Takeaways

  • How fathers’ mental health directly impacts child and family well-being
  • How systems, bias, and policy shape fathers’ engagement and help-seeking
  • Practical strategies to support fathers’ mental health without increasing surveillance or risk
  • How to apply a prevention-oriented lens to everyday practice, supervision, and program design

Early bird price of $69 ends on January 29, 2026 at midnight ET.

For many nonprofit CEOs, board engagement is a more urgent and complicated leadership challenge than it was even a few years ago. Today’s environment is putting new pressure on how trustees and leaders work together at a time when executives are navigating uncertainty, pressure, and limited capacity.

The stakes are clear: Research shows only about one in three CEOs believe they have the “right” board members to support their organization’s current strategy. As nonprofits look toward 2026, finding ways to close this gap is more critical than ever.

Join this 75-minute webinar to learn from two nonprofit leaders who bring long histories of working closely with boards as executives and advisers. They’ll share trends they’re seeing now, situations where board engagement tends to break down, and tactics that are helping make the board-CEO relationship more productive and supportive in this moment.

You’ll learn ways to:

  • Encourage more active board participation and match members’ contributions to your organization’s most pressing needs
  • Clarify expectations and improve how board and staff members work together
  • Build board engagement that supports leadership during complex moments

You’ll walk away with practical insights you can apply immediately — whether you’re trying to reset expectations with a long-standing board or navigate engagement challenges that have become harder to ignore.

Community-based nonprofits have long been engines of innovation, care, and resilience, often operating with limited resources but unlimited commitment to those they serve. As funding models shift, public scrutiny increases, and political landscapes become more polarized, sustainability isn’t just a goal, it’s a necessity.

This program will enable you to

  • Define the four core pillars of nonprofit sustainability: leadership, culture, community trust, and diversified revenue.
  • Identify successful models for diversifying income.
  • Apply systems, practices, and culture shifts that support staff retention, leadership development, and mission alignment.
  • Understand how changing political and funding landscapes require adaptive strategies to ensure their organizations continue serving without compromising mission or values.
